Our Cook, Angelina, has a Completed a certificate 2 in commercial cookery and is currently working towards her certificate 3. Angelina used to run her own catering business and has approximately 5 years experience in the food industry. Through Angelina’s catering business she has extensive experience in cooking and providing special diets. All our educators do yearly training in food safety standards and hygiene through the “I’m Alert” food safety program.
All meals are prepared daily and follows the get up and grow guidelines and the food safety standards as set by the Department of Health. This standard allows us to ensure than children are getting 50% of their daily intake requirements whilst at care.
Our menus are displayed weekly next to the kitchen and shared on our online platform Storypark, so families can see exactly what the children are eating and we are able to cater to all children’s dietary requirements too.
